Yamaha developed the DBR12's 12" low-frequency woofer and 1.4" high-frequency compression driver specifically for this model, optimizing their performance. The result is a loudspeaker that reproduces the entire audible spectrum with minimal distortion at any volume.

A Lightweight Yet Durable Enclosure

The DBR12's plastic cabinet is designed to be as lightweight as possible for easy transport while remaining durable. Ergonomic handles and a wedge-shaped profile make it easy to grab and set up as a floor monitor. For permanent installations, the cabinet includes M8-threaded mounting points compatible with optional rigging hardware.

Flexible Connectivity and Control

The DBR12 includes an onboard two-channel mixer with independent level controls for its combo XLR/TRS input and RCA input. You can choose to route both inputs to the speaker or only the XLR/TRS input. With simple, intuitive controls and a range of input options, the DBR12 works with nearly any source from microphones to MP3 players and everything in between.
