The Harley Benton JB-75 is a four-string J-style bass that is especially interesting for bassists who prefer the look and sound of a classic but don't want to spend an enormous amount of money on it. Proven formula

An American ash body and a maple neck and fingerboard are the basis of the Harley Benton JB-75. This combination has been tried and tested and beloved for decades. Just like the original, it has a bolt-on neck design, which ensures a sound with plenty of attack. 20 frets offer enough space for basslines of all kinds and a nut width of 38mm, along with the C-profile of the neck, promise a playability that makes you feel at home immediately. Two Roswell JBA AlNiCo V single coils and passive electronics with two volume controls and one tone control form the sonic control centre of the JB-75. Design, finish, vintage-style machine heads, pickguard, and above all the block inlays and the fingerboard binding provide the JB-75 with a suitably authentic look. The three-tone sunburst is also a more traditional choice of colour, giving it a timeless design.

The Harley Benton JB-75 is clearly aimed at price-conscious musicians who nevertheless want to get their hands on the look, feel, and sound of a classic. Stylistically, the JB-75 cannot be squeezed into just one category. In terms of sound it is at home everywhere, from Pop, Rock, Funk, and Soul to R&B and Jazz thanks to its two pickups. Bass students in particular will be pleased with the low price if they still want to play a fully-fledged instrument that can be used long-term.
