The Fender American Vintage 1972 Telecaster Deluxe electric guitar holds the distinction of being Fender’s first solidbody Telecaster with two humbuckers. It sports a large Stratocaster-style headstock, comfort-contoured belly cut and pair of Wide-Range humbucking pickups mounted to an elongated pickguard with dual volume and tone controls, and a 3-way switch located on the upper bout. To create authentic Wide-Range humbucking pickups, Fender created the CuNiFe magnets an essential element in producing the sonics on this guitar.

Featuring a ’75 C-shaped hard rock maple neck, the American Vintage Telecaster Deluxe plays like a dream with a 9.25"-radius maple fingerboard and vintage tall frets. It is also outfitted with a convenient "Bullet"-style truss rod nut, three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt mechanism and classic finishes over an alder body. Additional appointments include a 6-saddle hardtail bridge with stainless steel block saddles and Tele Deluxe tuners.
