Easy mic positioning for podcasts and home-studio sessions
The LW Essentials Desk-Mounted Microphone Boom Arm Stand lets you position your mic close at hand without having to incorporate a conventional floor-standing boom into your workspace. The radio-station-style boom arm securely attaches to tabletops with a desk clamp. A mic-angle adjustment screw centers the microphone to your liking, and the spring-balanced arm can be raised high or low, positioned close to your mouth or a bit farther away or set directly above your recording gear or off to the side. This stand makes it easy to place your microphone just right for podcasting, recording dialog, creating audiobooks and tracking vocals.
It also includes a pop-filter to rid your recordings of the dreaded hissing and lisping sounds that come when pronouncing the letter "S" and blocks those ugly "plosives" that follow "B" and "P" words.
